Mountain Villa

For this Conceptual Workshop we are moving to Hatta which is an exclave of Dubai located south-west from its main territory near the border with Oman. It is known for picturesque rugged mountains and beautiful lakes. To my knowledge building around the lakes is not possible at the moment but who knows, perhaps in the future?
Lets allow ourselves to imagine how would a 'Dubai Mountain Villa' look like. Design in minimalist style featuring natural local stone it would blend seamlessly with the surrounding mountains offering stunning views of the lake among native planting.

SKY VILLA

Following up on the Tuesday's Trend lets have a look how far we could take the concept of Sky Villa! This design offers exquisite luxury together with unique combination of breathtaking views and complete privacy it is the epitome of high-life. Accessible by private lift the villa opens up to a sky lobby with a panoramic view and a formal reception area. All the rooms are strategically oriented to maximize the views framed by lush planting.

CORAL VILLA

This design explores a concept of lifting up a section of coral reef above water so that it informs the design of a luxurious villa complex. Located on a private piece of land forming part of The World Islands archipelago it offers complete privacy, with no neighbors for hundreds of meters. The property is accessible exclusively through a boat through a uniquely designed watercourt providing a truly one-of-a-kind arrival experience. Offering perfect 360-degree views of the Dubai skyline and pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf this villa provides an experience of ultimate luxury.

CALLIGRAPHY VILLA

Encapsulated in simple exterior shell the walls and ceilings merge into one continous surface covered in calligraphy.
The form and color palette is restricted to maximise the beauty of the decorative patterns. The entire villa appears to float on water reflecting the surrounding palm trees.

OASIS VILLA

Nature is and forever will be our greatest source of inspiration. Whataver environment you design in the best place to look in for design cues is just to look around. Designing in the desert - the obvious choice is designing a space with minimal, desert-adapted planting among rocks with a sandstone/limestone-colored facade and glass reflecting the sky and sand. But theats not the only choice - and what if you want a lushly planted desert home? Take inspiration from the oasis. What is an oasis - its a fertile spot on the desert with underground water source. We then have water - a central pond, we have greenery - dense cover of palms for shade. And already this sets the stage for your villa design which could then take inspiration from the curvilinear nature of the desert dunes.
