Ottoman Style
This stylistic originates from a blend of Byzantine, Persian, Islamic and Mediterranean influences which came into fruition during the time of the Byzantine Empire (14th-20th century). It was reflecting the grandeur, opulence and cultural sophistication of the Empire becoming one of the most iconic architectural styles in the Islamic world.

Desert Minimalism
This week we are exploring the use of minimalism in an arabic desert villa. Sandy tones are balanced with occasional golden accents and timber elements. Planting is lush but well-adapted to the very harsh desert conditions. We are being careful about providing sufficient shade for all spaces to maximize their use throughout the year

Bali Retreat
Bali is one of the most beloved holiday destinations in the world, particularly for those seeking respite from the everyday routine and over-saturated schedule. Its an island of spirituality, calmness and serenity.
We did not go for a 1:1 traditional Bali design - it feels much more appropriate (and interesting) to seek out the right balance between stylistic orthodoxy and modernity, especially in a city like Dubai. To feel this just take a look at the juxtaposition of the serene Balinese motifs against the futuristic skyline. I did include it in some scenes and hidden in others - you decide what you prefer.
